How do I reset my data?

Go to Settings inside the app and scroll down to find the Reset Data option. This will clear all your logged data and return the app to its initial state.
Why isn't the AI food scanner working?

Make sure you've granted camera permission to the app. Go to your device Settings → Hewett Health → Camera and ensure it's enabled. The AI scanner requires a clear, well-lit photo for best results.
My meal plan isn't updating when I ask the AI to change it.

Make sure you've first generated a meal plan by tapping the ⚡ Generate button. Once a plan is active, you can ask the AI assistant to adjust it and the plan will update automatically above the chat.
Is my data stored securely?

All your personal health data is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect or transmit your personal fitness data to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How are my calorie targets calculated?

Calorie and macro targets are calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which uses your age, height, weight, and activity level. This is a widely-used method based on established nutritional science. Always consult a healthcare professional for personalised medical advice.
How do I update my goals or profile?

Go to the Settings tab in the app. You can update your weight, goal, activity level, and other profile details at any time. Your calorie and macro targets will recalculate automatically.
The app is showing a blank screen on launch.
